Six Resident Graduate from High School!

AMH is proud to announce the high school graduation of sixresidents who graduated from the Annunciation Maternity Home Campus of The University of Texas University Charter School this past December. Amid family members, teachers, staff, volunteers, and their fellow residents, these three ladies received their high school diplomas and celebrated the closure of a chapter of their lives. The graduation Ceremony was held in the new Education Center and was an uplifting and memorable event. A keynote speech by Dr. Gwen Boyter, Superintendent of the Texas University Charter School reviewed the importance of education, determination and faith, three characteristics that our six graduates understand and have proven over the past year. The obstacles they have faced and overcome are a testament to their strong will and dedication to become independent and successful mothers and leaders in the community.
